"There's No Place Like Home": Southeastern Home Care Participated in Annual Pumpkin Festival Parade

October 2014 - Members of Southeastern Home Care staff and family participated in this year’s Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, October 4th. As part of the in the Pumpkin Festival parade, the team created a themed float, “There’s no place like home”, inspired by the Wizard of Oz and the local organization’s mission to provide care for their patients the same way a loving family would, in the home.

Southeastern Home Care’s float was supported by the organization’s staff and many family members who dressed up as their favorite characters from the movie. The float has some special furry friends in costume as well to make sure all characters were well represented.

“We had so much fun and this was such a great opportunity for us to connect with our community and reach out to the many residents we serve,” said Cory Krieger, Client Relations Executive for Southeastern Home Care.
