St. Francis Hospital is designated as a bariatric accredited facility through the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). This designation, awarded to a small percentage of facilities across the nation, acknowledges our commitment to providing safe, quality and specialized care for our bariatric patients. We initially earned this accreditation in the year 2005 and have been exceeding these standards of care ever since.
