Community Health Needs Assessment

As part of our mission to bring health and well-being to people throughout the Puget Sound, we at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health assess the health needs of our local communities.

Meeting your health needs

We conduct a community health needs assessment (CHNA) once every three years, to meet federal and state requirements as a not-for-profit hospital. The CHNAs help the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Board of Directors understand your health needs and develop strategies to meet them, in collaboration with our community partners.

Our board has integrated these recommended strategies with the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Strategic Plan, and we are working to implement them.
